Shared Living Provider Needed in Fort Kent

There is a need for a Shared Living Provider (SLP) to live with and provide daily living support services for a client in the Fort Kent area.  Shared Living is a joint service of Northern Maine General and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) that provides living arrangements for adults with developmental disabilities in the St. John Valley and Central Aroostook County.  SLPs are not employees of NMG.  Instead, SLPs enter into a contract with NMG in order to provide services and NMG acts as the Administering Agency to SLPs.   For more information about SLPs, please visit http://nmgeneral.org/HomeCommunitySupports.  To learn how to become a SLP contact Amy Carpenter at (207) 444-5152 ext. 241 or amy.carpenter@nmgeneral.org.
